Le Fonds des imprimés rares et précieux contient quelque 200 incunables, la plupart des ouvrages imprimés au Luxembourg avant 1800, des ouvrages écrits par des auteurs nés, ayant vécu ou enseigné au Luxembourg d’Ancien régime, la collection des reliures remarquables (anciennes et modernes), ainsi que plusieurs milliers d’ouvrages remarquables par leur rareté, leur contenu ou leur provenance. Les documents du fonds peuvent être consultés uniquement en salle spécialisée, sur demande écrite.
