The Media Centre is on the 2nd floor of the Reading Room. It completes the National Library’s collections with multimedia documents: feature films and documentaries, audiobooks, music and language teaching aids. The collection holds more than 19,000 audiovisual documents, 2,400 audiobooks and 900 language-learning resources for more than 80 languages.
In the Media Centre are workstations, with and without computers, comfortable chairs, one carrel and three soundproof booths. With your library card, you can also borrow headphones from the machines located at the entrance to the Media Centre.
Every month, our staff pick a selection of titles that are available in the Media Centre.
