Contents of the collection

The Non-Luxembourgish Collection covers all fields of knowledge and represents the majority of the BnL’s printed collections. It includes books, periodicals, proceedings of congresses and conferences, reports, studies, as well as reference and general works, available in print, microform or audiovisual formats.

It also provides access to a wide range of digital resources, including electronic journals and books, as well as databases.

Document selection is carried out across the different subject fields, in accordance with the acquisition policy of the collection.

Searching and viewing

Documents can be searched and reserved via the online catalogue a-z.lu. Depending on their nature, they are available for loan for home use, for viewing on site, or online.
