New innovation partnership by GovTech Lab now open for applications until 30 January! “Bot4Lib”

GovTech Lab Luxembourg has launched its new innovation partnership “Bot4Lib”. Through this call for solutions, GovTech Lab is seeking an innovative solution to automate the inventory process in the Reading Room of the National Library of Luxembourg.

Currently, inventories are carried out manually, requiring significant time and a large team of available staff.

The proposed solution involves an autonomous robot integrated with an intelligent document recognition system. This robot will navigate the public areas to identify each document using computer vision. The collected data will be sent to a management system, allowing the BnL staff to correct any sorting errors in a final step.

Interested economic operators wishing to participate in “Bot4Lib” are invited to view the call for solutions on the public procurement portal (Portail des marchés publics) and submit their application by 30 January 2025.
