New Onleihe app available for ebooks.lu

There is an important update for users of the German-language ebooks.lu service: the new Onleihe 3 app will be available for download from 14 January 2026.

From 15 January 2026, our e-book collection will only be accessible via the new app. Existing loans, reservations, and bookmarks will be transferred automatically.

Users accessing the service via a web browser on a computer do not need to make any changes.

Onleihe 3 offers a range of new features, including cross-device synchronisation of reading progress between the Onleihe app and the web service, an unlimited bookmark list, a loan history, and an eye-friendly dark mode.
