The National Library offers its auditorium (“amphithéâtre”) for hire to associations, institutions and businesses. With a fixed seating arrangement, the room provides a modern and functional setting, ideal for presentations, lectures or press conferences.

Rates
The daily rental rate is €1,100 including VAT. Hourly rentals are not offered.

How do I request a booking?
You can contact us directly by email to submit your request. Please include as much information as possible about your event. We will then check availability and get back to you promptly.
Can I visit the room before signing the contract?
Yes, we recommend visiting the venue by appointment to ensure it meets your requirements.
Can food or drinks be provided to participants?
No, catering is not permitted. Serving food or drinks before, during, or after the event is not allowed. This means that welcome drinks or receptions are not possible.
What is included in the daily rate?
The daily rate covers the hire of the room and its standard equipment. The National Library also provides:
- Technical assistance before the event (audio and video projection tests)
- Furniture setup
- Preparation and testing of microphones
- Presence of security staff in the building
- Signage in the reception hall
Please note that no technical support is provided during your event. Guest reception, event promotion, and attendance management must also be arranged by you.
Are discounts available?
Discounts may be granted in certain cases, particularly if the booking is made by a state body or by an association directly related to librarianship, archival work, museology, research, or culture.
