This August, the National Library is organising a new edition of its Summer School. The BnL Summer School 2025 has been specially designed for advanced students and young professionals in library science, with a focus on cataloguing.
Over the course of three days, participants will gain in-depth insights into the most important standards, tools, and best practices for cataloguing in the context of a library network and an integrated library management system. Through practical workshops and exchanges with experts, they will have the opportunity to improve their cataloguing knowledge and put it into practice.
The deadline for applications is 11 May 2025. Applications received after this date will not be considered.
The National Library is a key player in Luxembourg’s library ecosystem. In its Vision 2030 – The BnL on the Path of Transformation, it is committed, among other things, to promoting information science professions through activities, internships, professional training, continuing education and initial training.
