Readers of the National Library now have access to two new databases: the Bibliographie de la littérature française and Klapp online.

Bibliographie de la littérature française

The Bibliographie de la littérature française (BLF) is produced jointly by the National Library of France, the Société d'histoire littéraire de la France and Classiques Garnier numérique and lists studies published since 1998 on French and French-langugage literature in France and abroad from the 16th century to the present day. From 1998 to the present, more than 200,000 detailed entries have been published, including more than 105,000 works or contributions to works, more than 75,000 journal articles, and more than 28,000 reviews. The online BLF is updated daily through the recording of new publications. It is an extremely useful tool for researchers, teachers, students and anyone who wants to learn about French and French-language literature, or a specific writer, subject or era.

Klapp online

Klapp online, the bibliography of French literature, with its 122,531 articles from edited volumes, 190,146 journal articles, 111,031 monographs and reviews and 1,546 academic journals, is an indispensable tool for the study of French literature.

The database is only accessible within the building of the National Library.
