Some services restricted during Open Days From Saturday 30 September to Sunday 1 October 2023

Notice to readers

As part of the celebrations to mark the 225th anniversary of the National Library, we will be opening our doors to you during our Discovery Days on 30 September and 1 October 2023. However, we would like to point out that during this period of festivities, certain services will be restricted:

  • Anyone wishing to collect a document on Saturday 30 September must make a reservation via a-z.lu on Friday 29 September before 17.00. Reservations made after 17.00 can be collected from the loans desk from Tuesday 3 October 2023.
  • The Music Room will not be available on 30 September.

Moreover, many events and activities will be taking place during the Discovery Days, which will generate noise and cause more people to be present in the Reading Room.
