Green teaching : nature pedagogies for climate change & sustainability Claire Warden

Non-Luxembourgish

Given the urgency of environment protection in a time of increasing climate change, this book argues that it is not enough that children love to spend their time outside, but that they need to develop a real understanding for the natural world. Respect towards environmental issues without neglecting children’s rights should become the frame of this new nature pedagogy. Case studies illustrate some applied methods and are of interest for teachers, educators, students and everyone concerned by environmental issues. I think that this book perfectly fits our collections because of its practical applicability based on international research results.
